22 weeks, 22 previous films & a Soul named "22": The triple co-incidence!

As a lot of you may already know, Soul was originally supposed to release in U.S. theaters today—on June 19th, 2020.

But because of the corona-virus pandemic, the entire movie release schedule has been shifted and altered to the point of that same movie now releasing on November 20th instead.

This is exactly 22 whole weeks (or 154 days) counted directly in-between the two dates.

What makes this co-incidental, you ask?

Actually, it’s more of a triple co-incidence: 22 weeks between the original release date and the moved-to date; 22 other films released previously (which all came before Soul, making it Pixar’s 23rd feature-length film); and, most important of all, one of the two main characters being a soul named “22”.

Try turning that into a meme!
